Disney is hiring princes and princesses – but they must meet strict requirements

Looking for a new job in the New Year?

Why not work at Disney? After all, it is often referred to as the most magical place in the world.

The company is currently looking for aspiring princes and princesses to work at Disneyland Paris.

So if you’ve always dreamed about working as a Marvel or Frozen character, you could be in luck.

Applicants have to be available to audition in January.

And during this interactive interview, they must prove that they have the right amount of “enthusiasm” and “high energy”.

While Disney hasn’t revealed much about the auditions process, it has given hopefuls some idea.

Candidates are advised to wear comfortable clothes, which suggests that you may have to show off your dancing skills.

To qualify for the roles, you must be 18 years or over.

The ability to speak English or French is also necessary – and we can imagine those who are fluent in both may have a better shot at success.

Finally, attendees must be of a certain height.

Disneyland Paris is hiring those who are between 137cm (around 4ft 5in) and 193cm (approximately 6ft 3in).

The first will take place at Liverpool Theatre School on January 25.

This interview date will be followed by more hiring sessions in Leeds’ Yorkshire Dance Centre on January 26 and London’s Pineapple Dance Studios on January 28.

Candidates must arrive bare-faced and bring a copy of their CV with them.

Successful applicants will be hired for a minimum of four months.
