British adults deem a holiday truly "luxurious" if they can enjoy a "swim-up bar", infinity pools, and strolling by a marina full of millionaire’s yachts.
A survey has revealed what travellers deem to be "luxurious", with a five-star hotel, stunning views and access to a private swimming pool or hot tub also featuring.
Other luxuries to make the top 30 list include sleeping in a super-king-size bed and lots of complimentary goodies.
Brits also class beautiful sea views and private transfers to and from their hotel as top signs of a "fancy" break, as well as the chance to be "surrounded" by nature and enjoy some peace and quiet.
Others consider a trip as luxurious if they have a private terrace or sunbathing area, waiter service either beach or poolside, and extra luggage allowance.
A spokesman for Jet2holidays, which commissioned the study to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of its "Indulgent Escapes" brand, said: "Luxury has many meanings when it comes to holidays.
"But this research shows the key ingredients which are guaranteed to take a getaway to the next level and make it truly indulgent.
"With us all having been stuck at home for the better part of two years dreaming about our perfect holiday, it’s no wonder that people are turning daydreams into reality.
"We have seen bookings for luxury holidays double in recent weeks."
The study saw Italy named as the most luxurious location by 34 percent of the 2,000 adults polled, followed by Greece (20 percent).
And the perfect break was deemed to be just 11 days on average, not the full two-weeks as is tradition for a getaway.
June was picked as the perfect time to get away on a luxury trip – although it was nearly as popular as a September getaway.

However, 51 percent have never had what they would describe as a genuinely luxurious holiday.
Of those dreaming of taking one, they estimate they’ll need savings of up to £4,500 to make it happen.
And 45 percent believe they need a luxury break now more than ever.
As a result, four in ten of those polled, via OnePoll, admitted they are more likely to treat themselves to one post-pandemic.
The Jet2holidays spokesman added: "With more and more holidaymakers clearly looking to indulge themselves, we wanted to understand more about what that looks like.
"Luxury has many meanings, and one person’s super-luxe might be run of the mill for another.
"However, there’s clearly nothing better than a wonderful hotel to base yourself from complete with stunning views and privacy."
Jet2holidays is marking the ten-year anniversary of its Indulgent Escapes brand with a year-long campaign of celebrations, starting with " Bid for a Break ".
