Avianca’s LifeMiles program is great for booking Star Alliance award flights at low rates. Even better, it frequently offers bonuses when transferring from flexible points programs, allowing you to stretch your rewards even further. For those that have rewards with Capital One or Brex, now is one of those times.

You can normally transfer Capital One miles and Brex Rewards to Avianca LifeMiles at a 1:1 ratio. However, as part of a promotion that runs through July 2, 2021, you’ll get a 25% transfer bonus. If you end up taking advantage of this transfer promotion to book a Star Alliance award, you’ll end up saving 20% on the cost of your award ticket.

While a whole rental home can provide a spacious, alluring alternative to a hotel, many travelers still want the reliability and consistency of a major hospitality brand. Enter: Homes and Villas by Marriott.

Via a new promotion that will run through the end of 2021, you can earn 10 points per dollar spent on Marriott Homes and Villas by charging the stay to your co-branded Marriott credit card, such as the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card. You can earn the 10 points per dollar bonus on up to $7,500 spent.

Earn a 25% bonus when transferring Amex Membership Rewards to Hawaiian Airlines

American Express is back with another incentive to move your points to one of its transfer partners: Amex is offering a 25% bonus when transferring American Express Membership Rewards points to Hawaiian Airlines’ HawaiianMiles mileage program. Amex has consistently run this promo once per year in the past — each of which has offered a 25% bonus. You’ll get the bonus when you transfer Amex points to Hawaiian by Jun. 30, 2021.

Normally you can convert Membership Rewards points to HawaiianMiles at a 1:1 ratio in increments of 1,000 points. With the bonus, you get 25% more miles. For example, for every 1,000 Amex points you transfer, you’ll receive 1,250 HawaiianMiles.
