‘Anxiety-inducing’ storm-themed spa pool with rain and lightning splits opinion

A storm-themed spa room where thunderous clouds hover above the pool and rain pours onto guests has gone viral online.

Recently, a video clip of a storm-themed room, reportedly at the QC Termemilano Spa, went viral on Reddit.

Twitter user, @Rainmaker1973, also stated that the multi-sensory room was based in the Milan spa – though the website does not confirm its availabiliy.

The viral clip showed a swimming pool with stairs being drenched in rain from above as storm clouds rolled across the walls and lightening flashed.

A massive 111,000 people liked the post and thousands commented on the unusual spa experience.

Many loved the idea and wanted to book a stay immediately.

One commenter said: “I love the two extremes, either you think this is silly or scary and would never touch or you want to drop everything right now and go to it.”

While another added: “This looks amazing. I'd absolutely love this.”

And, a third noted: “This looks dope and relaxing, I want one,” while fourth commented: “Take all my money.”

Many said it looked “awesome”, “cool” and “crazy”.

But others found the storm room terrifying.

A poster said: “Nah f*** that. That a horror film set.”

While another added: “This is absolutely anxiety inducing.”

“This would send my body into straight anxiety,” a third pointed out.

And, some people thought the room could be great for stress relief.

One such fan noted: “I just wanna get in and scream at God.”

“I wanna go there and start crying,” agreed another.

The Monte Tabor lets you relax in darkness only to be plunged into aromatic and visual treatments.
