Dream Vacations has taken out an ad on the Nasdaq digital billboard in New York’s Times Square, offering viewers the chance to win a vacation by scanning a QR code.
Ads on the billboard at 43rd Street and Broadway rotate every two minutes and operate 18 hours a day on weekdays and 20 hours on weekends. The Dream Vacations ad will run until Aug. 20. Its display started on July 31.
Dream Vacations expects the ad will deliver 18 million impressions as well as generate leads and enhance brand awareness.
In addition to scanning a QR code, people can enter the contest by visiting DreamVacations.com/NYC.
The billboard’s launch coincided with an event near Bryant Park where travel advisors and headquarters staff interacted with passersby and gave out branded Dream Vacations merchandise. Dream Vacations has also launched a new promotion, “Splash into Cash,” with savings for customers on cruises, resort stays, tours or villas until Aug. 15.
